Speaking of Excellence – “No man is an island”
We have all heard this phrase before. It is from John Donne’s Devotions (1624) : “No man is an island entire to himself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main.” We are in essence part of a larger whole. A community of living, breathing and feeling souls with unique likes and passions. This is truly an awesome situation because I believe in something called a collective intelligence. No one has all the answers, but together we can figure it out. Seek out positive forward-thinking people. Emerge yourself in an environment which challenges you to become the best version of yourself. My commitment to Speaking of excellence is to share thoughts that inspire and encourage.
